Dr. Tara Shakeri
Dr. Tara Shakeri has a background in psychology and biology from UC Davis, with her optometry training completed at Pacific University.
Following her graduation, Dr. Shakeri completed a residency in ocular disease and surgical care at Northwest Eye Surgeons in Sequim, WA, dedicated to exceptional eye health management.
In her free time, she enjoys music, travel, and spending quality time with family, friends, and her dogs.
Meet Dr. Gonzalez
Dr. Gonzalez specializes in providing personalized eye care and vision solutions for all ages.
Particular areas of interest for Dr. Gonzalez include ocular disease, and co-management of cataract and refractive surgeries.
In his free time, Dr. Gonzalez enjoys spending time painting, exercising, and exploring the outdoors.
Meet Dr. Shulkin
Dr. Shulkin grew up as a Navy kid, moving frequently across the U.S. with his family, shaping his global perspective and dedication to community focus.
After graduating from Illinois College of Optometry in 1983, Dr. Shulkin established his practice in San Diego, dedicated to family eye care.
Since 1990, Dr. Shulkin has passionately built a practice welcoming families, emphasizing pediatric and developmental eye care to enhance vision health.
